[SOLVED] Underperforming gaming PC

Custom built gaming PC massively under-performs when playing any game. Even when playing on the lowest graphics there is no change. Same effect on both single player and multiplayer games.

Specs:

Processor: AMD A10-9700 RADEON R7, 10 Compute Cores (4C, 6G?) 3.5GHz
Ram: 8GB
64 Bit
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB

The PC is also just slow in general and struggles to do simple things like open a new web page or software such as Spotify.

If the system is running slow in everything I would start with a clean Windows setup. If you have a standard drive, getting a solid state is a good idea. Prices for a 250gb drive are pretty good.
