Underpowered PSU killed my rig? (UPDATE)

Have I just killed my PSU? Just put a Power Colour Red Dragon RX580 8GB card into my build, without realising that my 450W PSU wasn’t powerful enough to drive this GPU. My new PSU has arrive do and there is no life from my motherboards whatsoever, no power LEDs at all. Is the motherboard the problem?

450 should be fine if it is good quality, what model is it? List your full rig please. Anything happened when you put in your rx580 with 450 psu? What is the new PSU?

Motherboard - ASUS prime b350 plus
CPU - Ryzen 5 1600
Ram - Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000mhz 2x4GB
PSU - Corsair CXM 450 watt

I took my 1050ti out and hooked up the rx580, there was no life whatsoever from anything when I tried turning it on. I put the 1050ti back in and it was still the same. No power LED on motherboard at all

disconnect all cables and reconnect them, make sure all connections are secured. Very likely you bumped some cables loose.

Yeah I’ve tried this, but I’m gonna give it another’s fresh go when I get home from work. Hoping I just missed something when testing it

if psu fail, it will show something, like sound/buzz, etc. quiet is not one of them.
