I have a Samsung 840 EVO 250GB as a cache drive in my server.
Samsung rates my drive at 75 TBW.
According to Total LBA's written my drive has 281.24 TB written.
According to SMART my drive reports wear leveling count Value of 72.
Mathing it out, the drive is estimating a lifetime of TBW of 1PB?
Certain new workload changes have increased LBA's written to 1+TB a day.
(surveillance video is written to the cache full time, then the software discards the continuous stream and saves footage with motion. The Unraid 'Mover' then saves motion footage to the spinning discs. )
How should I evaluate the EOL for this drive?
Also FYI it has Power on hours of (5y, 7m, 5d, 23h)
