Undervolting a Fx-8320

Hello folks,

I recently got myself a new cpu and motherboard (Fx-8320 and MSI 970 gaming) and was reading on a lot about how this processor can be undervolted quite a bit. I have been looking online for quite a while but I cant seem to find a specific guide or anything for FX cpus and how to undervolt from within the bios.

I do understand that once i've tinkered with those settings that I should run prime 95 for a few hours but my issue is, how do I go about undervolting in the bios? What settings should I be tinkering with? I am currently running at stock clocks and do not plan on OCing at this time.

2 ways depending on your motherboard.
1 manualy set the Vcore start at like 1.2 and go from their.
2 use a -voltage offset.

Well that was easier than expected, managed to drop temps by 5 degrees during prime 95 by lowering cpu voltage by 0.06 volts. Thanks again for your help!
