Hi I'm pretty new to undervolting, well I've only just heard about it. I've just bought a Medion Erazer i7-9750h. I want to undervolt it to reduce temperatures but looking into it Intel have released an update to block it? Can I still undervolt it? What's the best way of going about it? I have installed Intel XTU but not touched it yet

Hey there,

This is one of the best guides to undervolting that specific CPU (which I also have):

It explains pretty much everything you need to know, however the software used here is Throttlestop.

Follow the guide, whilst also being aware that your CPU may be slightly different. I've an undervolt of (-130.9). This effect has changed my temps from 90-95c playing BF V, to 75-80c. Huge difference.

Funnily enought though, BF V seems to push the CPU even more than stress testing! haha
