Undervolting my Laptop Safe?

Hey all,

Excuse me if I am putting this in the wrong section. So I am interested in undervolting my laptops CPU, as I heard of the benefits. But I was wondering if there would be any dangers of it. Like I saw in one thread that it would be dangerous but most people said it would be fine. So the only thing I really need to know is if it is safe. I have a Lenovo G50-80L000ALUS I believe. Help would be appreciated.

Yes, undervolting. Overvolting can damage stuff. Underclothing typically doesn't.
