Undervolting R9 290's and R9 290x

I've got a R9 290 and it draws around 250-275w from the wall. I've heard people have managed to undervolt these cards to around 150w whilst overclocking them and keeping the system stable.

If i was to read the BIOS and post it here, can someone assist me with modding it? Or anyone can offer me some advice on how best to approach this?
