Hello there. some days ago I decided to buy components for a new computer (my first computer ever, outside of a cheap laptop I had for over 3 years). the CPU is a ryzen 5 1600x, rx 580 asus strix, 16gb ram, asrock ab350m pro4 and a rosewill nautilus mid atx case.

at the time I was worried about the size of air coolers fitting in the motherboard and case, and decided to buy a liquid cooler, but as I had a budget locked at 80 dollars for the cooler I made a contentious decision of buying this chinese brand cooler ID Cooling Frostflow 240L.

I tried searching for bad reviews on leaking, disaster etc. but surprisingly I didn't find any (except things like broken LEDs, minor stuff).
unlike known brands like Corsair, NZXT etc, which is filled with bad reviews.

my main problem really is that I don't know what is ID Cooling stance on warranty, would they replace damaged components if their product suddenly fail? I don't have a garden of money growing trees to be able to afford these risks.

so I ask you guys, would it be appropriate to sell this cooler (still didn't even come from delivery, so i might be able to return I think) and buy a cheaper air cooler?
I was thinking about this

but anyways. all of the questions that I have are

what are the stance on warranty from ID Cooling? their site doesn't offer much information...

is it smarter to just return/sell and buy a safer alternative, at least for the peace of mind, or am I being too paranoid?

pcpartpicker list for my build (if I had all that money to spend at one time I would have a different build, but I bought some pieces before, like the SSD for my laptop and power supply for e-GPU.

thanks for any response!
good day

The ID cooling Frostflow coolers seem to be solid. Our testing reviewer Crashman, who has been testing systems since before many of our members were even born, found it to be one of the best performers of any liquid cooler he'd ever tested, at that time. I've heard there are some issues, for some users, with the way the cold plate mounting is designed, but that may just be due to those users lack of understanding the instructions.

Our test results speak for themselves. ID-Cooling's Frostflow 240L offers the best full-speed temperature ever achieved on this test system, the best low-speed acoustic efficiency of any closed-loop cooler tested on this system, and the lowest price of any 2x 120mm cooler ever tested on our system...

However, while some users prefer integrated fan and pump control, the Frostflow 240L uses motherboard-based controls.

I would not hesitate to purchase and use one of these if I were in the market for an AIO cooler. Plus, they have US based operations for warranty or replacement/support concerns as well. Being as they are now sold on sites like Newegg and Amazon, there is a bit more support for them than when they were only available on fleabay.
