Hello, dear Peeps and Peepettes.
I just noticed that my sound levels are uneven, left speaker is louder than the right one. I am not sure when it started, but I updated my Corsair ICUE software to the latest version and it broke my Realtek sound drivers. I re-installed the Realtek Drivers and noticed that the sound levels are uneven.
I can not use the latest Realtek Drivers because my MOBO is kind of old and when I install them I get no sound at all, so I am using the drivers from Asus's site, which are for my Mobo. (ASUS P8H77-M/CSM LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard )
What have I done:
- Re-installed sound drivers = did not help
- Removed ICUE software and installed sound drivers = did not help
- Restored my system prior to installing the new ICUE software = did not help
- I did play with the speaker's balance in the Sound Settings, seems like the level is -3 or -4 on the right speaker.
This bothers me a great deal. Does anyone here has any advice on how this problem may be corrected? Perhaps someone here knows the latest Realtek Driver that would work with my mother board? Right now I am using Driver Version 6.0.1.7503, Audio Codec ALC 887. The Realtek site doesn't even have ALC 887 codec anymore. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
max.
