Question Unexpected Shutdown with no known Cause

Earlier, tonight, I left my computer to have dinner. It was open and running a number of applications, some with unsaved work (I know. My mistake). Later, I came back to find it was on the login screen, having restarted sometime when I was out. The EventViewer shows a 6008: that the shutdown was unexpected, which has me concerned. Is there any means by which I can determine what caused the restart?
