UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP with BSOD help!!!

I recently upgraded from windows 8 to 8.1 on my laptop and i began receiving the Unexpected_kernel_mode_trap message along with the bsod. So, I upgraded all the drivers, as I have been informed that it is most likely a driver error. The bios were also updated. However, the problem persists. Thinking that it is just a problem with this one computer, I upgraded to 8.1 on my two work laptops and I get the same exact bsod with the same error message!!!!! Does anyone else have this error?!?!?! AND PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN!!!!!!!

there are many solutions here and windows 8 won't give you the parameter so try the solutions out.

Unfortunately, I looked at that website already. I tried literally everything. I changed all the drivers to the ones on the acer page. I also tried windows 8 and 7 drivers without luck. The laptop is on a cooling stand with a fan all the time, so it isn't overheating, and it hasn't been overclocked. I also doubt its memory or hdd corruption, as two of the laptops(the current acer included) were completely new, while my work one ran perfectly on both 7 and 8. The dumpfile says that it may be a windows 8.1 error. I don't know what to do from here on.

I just also uninstalled steam and avast. Avast is always a culprit, isn't it?
