Hi everyone,
For the last week my gaming laptop has been experiencing weird shuttering in every game i play and also unusual sound shuttering as well.It is like an old cd that it has been scratched.I have checked for viruses/malwares via windows defender,i am getting the usual temperatures(70-80 degrees celsius) in my cpu/gpu,i have been using the fastest speed on my fans, and reinstalled drivers.
my laptop has:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz.
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 4GB.
RAM: Samsung 8.0 GB.
HDD: 1 TB.
SSD: 128 GB.
OS:Windows 10
I cant understand why something like that would happen in this specific laptop which i own for exactly one year.
Any response is appreciated.
Further information if requested will be provided.

Isn't that the last resort though?
If there is a simple fix like changing anything in my settings i would like to try that other than using my warranty.
Plus i believe that the overall issue is occuring in GTA V and PUBG.
Rainbow Six Siege and Battlefield 1 are just fine.

All sound drivers are up to date.
I have searched around the internet and some suggested that discord might be causing the audio shuttering.
How i can be sure that this is the actual reason?

Maybe that is the answer.
If anything is not fixed i will keep on updating here.
Thanks :)

Maybe my problem was the discord overlay which is pretty buggy.
I disabled it and i believe it is fixed.
If anyone is experiencing similar problems maybe discord is your answer.

It is your RAM. I have GTA V and this was happening to me yesterday. I would be doing nothing and it would be running fine but right when I would start moving it would lag like crazy and I would drop to 5 FPS and sound was cutting in and out. Mine did this when my ram was at 98% usage (thx memory leak). Restarting fixed mine and now it’s running smooth again. 8gb of ram is the minimum for gta 5 so if you want a mostly guaranteed solution, upgrade to 16 if possible, otherwise limit your opened applications.

I actually suspected that it is a RAM problem but the usage was always at almost 100% when playing GTA V.
But the problem is only happening for like a week.I also thought that it might be CPU throttling due to high temps but actually it is not it.
When it comes to upgrading RAM it is something that costs a lot of money company-wise since it can only be done if requested from lenovo, while manually installing new RAM sticks is easy and cheaper it ruins the warranty.
I am really buffled by this whole thing.
I am now checking background usage and such in order to see where is the actual problem.
Thanks for the advice anyways :)
