I have two unidentified Bluetooth Peripheral Devices for which I don't know what drivers to install. I already installed the fitting Bluetooth driver from Intel (I have an AX210 Wifi/BT card). Their hardware id's are:

  • BTHENUM\{f8d1fbe4-7966-4334-8024-ff96c9330e15}_LOCALMFG&0002
  • BTHENUM\{81c2e72a-0591-443e-a1ff-05f988593351}_LOCALMFG&0002

They seem to have something to do with the Bluetooth Enumerator. I can see two instances of Bluetooth Enumerator for which drivers are already installed.

Which drivers are needed for these unidentified Bluetooth devices?

some paired headsets require special drivers from the vendor.
bose and sony.

you can google on f8d1fbe4-7966-4334-8024-ff96c9330e15
or 81c2e72a-0591-443e-a1ff-05f988593351
to figure out what the device was. But you probably already know the vendor of the headphones and can find their special setup program.

in my wifes case it was some graphic equalizer for her bose headphone
that requires some special setup that she could not get to install.
(worked for me)

Thanks, I tried googling the id's but couldn't find any hints what they might be. I never installed drivers for my headphones (JBL 500BT Live) and I recall not having these unidentified devices before upgrading my WiFi/BT internal card.

Are you sure they must be headphone drivers? Is that what the Bluetooth Enumerator is for?

not really sure what these are for the id code is for vendor specific drivers
I think people were needing the to update firmware on headsets or to get the headset microphones to work.
same code number for several different devices sony, bose and others. I would google your device and windows firmware update to get the driver if you want it. some google entries indicated they need the driver for voice activation for their headset.
