Unidentified Network - "Ethernet" doesn't have a valid IP configuration

A few days ago my wired connection just shut down. I've been running on my wireless connection for a while now but I think it's time to get this fixed.

Before I start explaining more in depth, _yes_ I have tried another cable, _yes_ I have restarted the router, and _yes_ I have disabled my WiFi through all this.

Okay, so, when I right click the Ethernet adapter in Network Connections and Diagnose it, the problem Windows finds is ""Ethernet" doesn't have a valid IP configuration."

I have tried ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew - after which I get the following message: "An error occurred while renewing interface Ethernet : unable to contact your DHCP server. Request has timed out."

I've also tried "netsh winsock reset", which didn't do anything.

I've tried assigning a static IP to the connection. It wouldn't work, but I'm not sure I did this right. What should I put as preferred/alternate DNS server?

I've now reinstalled Windows as a last resort, which unfortunately didn't help, however we can now rule out other software is messing with the connection.

I don't think there's an issue with the actual network card, all the lights are working, Device Manager shows it as working, and it does recognize the cable being connected to a network.

There's probably some stuff I forgot I tried, feels like I've been in every menu in my PC and router by now, but start shooting ideas at me and we'll see what we can do.

Here's my ipconfig /all:

Okay, so I tried connecting another new device (my Wii U) and it didn't work either. I gathered from other posts that it might be something with my routers DHCP settings. Now, since I factory reset my router it seems I'm unable to log in to it with any default info I've found, or the info I've got from my ISP... So I ordered a new router free of charge from my ISP. I'll just keep running on WiFi for now and we'll see in a couple of days if this solves the problem. If not, I'll be back to bug you over the weekend ;)
