good ?. I look to see if its worth buying a new card my card above cost me about $125 new at newegg now I look at my runs and look at the ones posted here at toms and then I judge it the difference between my scores and like yours witch should be a newer better card then take the price difference and figure is the performance gap between you ''better'' card worth what ever the cost difference between it and mine now I do know when my card was new release as like yours the price was close to the same so by looking at this the r9 280 would not be worth the investment over what I got now
sp lets say it was a gtx970 just like with yours will there be a holy crap whata performance gain to where I would go and spend the $350 for it ?
so its like would I get my moneys worth over what I got now ?
Hello! i have i5 4570, r9 280 dual-x oc, 8gb ram, 500w psu sirtec high element bronze and i have a lower score than yours. I dunno if my gpu underperform or smth..

Hello mate yeah those are looking a bit low for what you have. I think your power supply may not be strong enough. I think the r9 270x's bare minimum psu requirement is 500w so that may be a problem. I'm running an fx-6300, r9 270x 2bg gddr5, 8gigs of ram, and a 750w 80+ gold certified psu. My scores are:
FPS:36.2
Score:1514
Min FPS:18.4
Max FPS:68.5
I'm over clocked a decent amount of course to get those scores with a lesser card and processor but I would think if you maybe had a 600w psu it would give you a decent FPS increase.
One more thing. If i overclock thec card, i gain the extra performance..in case that my psu is low, i shouldn't have to obtain extra performance from oc, right? Sry for my english.
interesting... Mine scored 1045 on heaven bench, I did OC a little bit then re score dropped so I reset it to stock clocks and used Afterburner to increase max voltage and push the Clocks high as they could go without crashing. I think I'm on a stable 1185MHz with that and my last bench yielded 976 but I think I'll go back and try push the OC a little further.(yes I did OC memory as well)
