Uninstall old driver?

I'm trying to update my GPU driver with a newer version released. I am using the same card, just upgrading. Should I use driversweep first or just do it ontop?

Using 250 GTS, upgrading from 260.99 driver to 266.58.

I would delete the old one first although putting the new one on top will work as well.
