Uninstalled driver - cannot install back!

Hello.I have a GTX 470 graphics card.
In order to revert back to an older driver,I uninstalled my current driver from Device Manager.
However,whenever I try to re-install the driver,Nvidia performs a check and says there's no compatible device in my system.

I'd appreciate some help,thanks.

What driver are you referring to? The latest Nvidia drivers still list the 400 series as being on the supported list so you should be able to install it without any issues.

Enter Safe mode and try installing the driver pack. If it doesnt help , in Safe mode run DDU(display driver uninstaller) and remove any driver part left . Restart and in Safe try to install the driver you wish .

Tried shutting the pc down and re-starting,now it doesn't start up at all.=(
The MB does receieve power,so I guess it's not the PSU.Could it be because the system has stopped reconizing the graphics card?

If you can see the logo screen , press F8 .

No,the system doesn't start up at all.I press the power button,no sign of life.
The leds on the MB does react to the PSU switch,when I swith it on they turn on,when off they go out.But the power button does not start the PC.


Edit: I found the reason the the system wasn't booting up.I was due to a second HDD I had issues installing.Now the system is up,now trying the driver solutions.
