[SOLVED] Uninstalled heatsink to remove a faulty fan but now I don't know how to put it (heatsink) back on.

I don't have any thermal paste yet but let's leave that aside for now. I don't know how to hook the top mount bracket to the top of my heatsink without causing it to completely slant upwards (which may or may not be noticeable in the pictures I provided). Ideally I want to keep the heatsink straight while hooked so I can later apply thermal paste but it's not working. I hope the pics I added helps, been pondering this problem for over an hour. The 'before' photos show how it looked with the fan attached.

On the cooler, that metal clip, first hook bottom part to plastic holder, place cooler in position, press metal tab at...
