Uninstalled winzip (trial ran out and now NOTHING will open)

Please help, my pc was all ok, when i decided to uninstall winzip since the trial ran out, and when it did, EVERY single icon went white, google, steam, gpu tweak, you name it, i cannot do anything and when i click an app, it says what would you like to use to open, and there is nothing but paint and notepad, please help i tried reseting and reinstalling winzip but it cant even open, PLEASE HELP i need my pc for school!!! Please help me i cannot do anything every icon is white

I can't what program should i open it with ,chrome,itunes,windows media center, thats all i have there, nothing else thats how bad it is

Can you click start button, and under the search window (to the left of shut down), type in "system restore" - it should bring up the program.

It wont, what do i do, i need a program to open anything!!! Ive tried downloads but they fail and ask what to open them with, and there is nothing, friken winzip ruined my life

yes, but when i click it it asks me what program should i open it with, so i might reinstall windows just because of uninstalling win zip

It appears to me that your windows registry file(s) have been corrupted. I would backup the important data files to another hard drive, then install Windows as a fresh install....then restore your data files to the hard drive.
