Uninstalling before University

Hi all,

I haven't got any of the patches from Maxis but I do have the teen
woohoo/pregnancy hack, no jealously and community items available in
residential (and the picture that lets you fill the motives).

I was just wondering if I'll have to completly uninstall TS2 and then
reinstall it before i get University.

And how do i uninstall it completly (and will that get rid of all of the
hacks and downloaded stuff - not that i'm that bothered i can always
download them again).

Many thanks,

V.

I don't think you do, I didn't have to take out any of mine before
installing. If you need to take them out because they are interfering
in your game, they are located in your downloads folder

I would think you can just take it out. I had it briefly because I wanted to
see what the ffuss was about and all I did to get rid of it was to find it
in the download folder and delete it.

Maybe this will help. I don't think the teen woohoo/pregnancy hack works
with University
from what I read at MTS2 but might be a good thing to go check for
yourself.

Just go into your download folder and remove them before you install
University

To uninstall completely you have to also delete the EA GAMES\The Sims
2 folder in My Documents... however, I do not think this is necessary.
Just remove the hacks, and I'm pretty sure you can keep the community
items thing, because it's just a collections folder.

I *think* I'm going to... *gulp* delete all my downloads... I'll need
a new buyable rewardobjects hack anyway, due to the new rewards. It's
just sickening, to decorate houses, and then have to build entirely
new ones each time an expansion comes out... I'm not sure it's worth
the effort...

I know how you feel, but at least university is worth it, anyway I think
so. I hadn't gotten attached to the majority of my downloads so that
helped.

Why delete all your downloads? Replace the hack and see what
downloads turn blue. I don't see the use of deleting it all?

I wasn't expecting the ingame system to be so simple to use and
ingenious 🙂

Thanks for all the responses - I think i'll just gonna delete the hacks and
keep the objects and keep my fingers crossed that it works.

Again, thanks.

If your objects are "blue",....SimPE can fix them.

The Teen WooHoo mod, has been updated on the S2L site, and it works
now. Your "students" can now go to class, and take exams.

It also kind of annoys me how young adults can't get pregnant... other
fraternity members, a school-sponsored nanny/kindergarden thing, or a
family member could help take care of it. The family member could
either show up and take the kid home to be raised by them, the
grandparents or siblings or both, or the family member could quit
their job and 'live in'.

I think I'll post a request! But they'll also have to hack a nanny for
campus!
