I'm really new to building computers and I have been using the AMD ryzen 5 2400G APU with no graphics card. I'm going to be upgrading soon to a gigabyte 1660 ti and I was wondering if I needed to uninstall any drivers from AMD in order to get it to work or if I just need to install the drivers for the new GPU. Any insight would be much appreciated

Yes, it's better to uninstall the AMD drivers in order to avoid potential conflicts between the 2 different drivers that can cause stability issues or crashes during gaming sessions. You can manually uninstall the AMD display drivers or use this software => https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html . Just make sure to read the instructions for the best results. Good luck.
