i have windows 2000. i want to get rid of junk i have never used in my life. namely, microsoft works and microsoft office tools. unless other programs (such as word) rely on these i would like to delete them FOREVER. does anyone know how to do this? its not obvious to me!

Go into Control Panel, click on Add/Remove Programs. Click on the application you want to ditch and click remove. That's all there is to it.

The easiest way to do it is click on Start, Programs, MS ..tool, RightClick on it, select 'Delete', click 'Yes' on confirmation box, it is done FOREVER. If you need space, then follow normal remove program steps.. FOREVER...

..this is very useful and helpful place for information...
