Having a problem uninstalling my old SSD.
I have a Samsung SSD 128GB PRO with Windows 7 and recently installed a second Samsung SSD 250GB EVO with windows 8.1
System runs great on both drives, but when trying to remove the old SSD I cannot startup my computer, it wants to repair the system. Problem seems to be the boot loader being saved on the old SSD.
Anyone knows a good way to get a boot loader on the new SSD? (C: when booting on windows 8.1)

I'm not good at Win 8, but the solution in previous versions was to do a repair install. Did you let it repair the system when it wanted to? If that didn't do it, can you try booting from the 8 disc and doing a Repair install?

Someone who uses 8 regularly tell me if this is now obsolete, please?

Letting if fix itself 2-3 times doesn't resolve the issue. I believe the issue is that the new SSD does not hold a boot manager itself, but that the old one holds both. Therefore when uninstalling the old SSD there is no boot manager for the system to use.
And it's running in UEFI mode.
Funny thing is, when I remove the windows 7 drive, the startup screen (before I get the black screen choosing between repair or normal startup) looks a lot like the windows 7 loading screen (which is on the drive I just physically removed)
