Question Uninterruptible Power Supply sudden shutdown

I recently bought a new PC with a UPS for sudden power outages where I am, it worked just fine until it suddenly shutdown with a very long beep. The beep wouldn't stop until I unplug the UPS from the main power and shut it down by holding the power button. When I reconnect it, everything boots up just fine like nothing ever happened.

This happens completely randomly regardless of the load my PC is under. The UPS's brand is PCE and its capacity is 2000VA 900W if that information is relevant at all. My PC's PSU is 700W, so I doubt the issue is with load.

I contacted the seller and he sent me a replacement, only for the replacement to suffer from the exact same problem the very next morning. Does anyone know what could be causing this? I'm a college student and these sudden shutdowns could result in me losing a lot of work instantly, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
