Hello guys i want to know my system specs are
Gpu Msi Rx 480 Gaming X 8Gb
Processor i5 4460
Hdd 1Tb Wd green
Ssd 240 Gb Intel
Psu Corsair Hx 1200i

I have a 700w ups can i run this system on this ups currently ups is used in my home so can i run this system on this ups.I am running a ceiling fan and a bulb on this ups. Is it safe or not the power draw of my system is aproximate 300w

UPS it is then! Unless you have a serious battery in that UPS you won't get anything like 8 hours, but at least you'll be able to use the computer for a while and shut it down properly when the battery is low.
In terms of power output, you should be well within spec. You'd have to work very hard to get that system to exceed 300W at the wall (/UPS).

Just FYI, some motors like those on your ceiling fan don't cope well with modified sine wave outputs from most cheaper UPSes. I'm far from an expert on these things, but you might just want to be aware of that.
 


Well provided that the UPS can do what is says it can, then there's little reason not to use it. If you're concerned, why not try to find a review or two for your UPS unit. As long as it's half decent, it's worthwhile. If you suffer regular blackouts or brownouts in your area, then having a UPS on your computer is a very good idea.
