unit locks up

[Kickapoo Rescue]

I have a 8 yr old hp windows 7 from wal mark desk top unit freezes after 20 to 30 seconds of use and mouse pointer disappears from screen doesn't come back up until I hold the power switch for the 5 seconds (control alt del doesn't do it) Computer is only used for internet nad email and some word use. no games etc

- Start by running a hardware diagnostics with your HP laptop because freezing issues can be a hardware related problem. (HDD or Motherboard itself)
