Screenshot of the problem, It doesnt register my mouse/keyboard being plugged in via usb.. I recently wiped my pc about 3 hours ago. I have tried every drive i can think of, ive flashed the bios to the most up to date. Ive downloaded the usb drivers from here :http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4485#driver
My mobo is the h81 amp up. None of it works, So than i try to download the Intel Management Engine Interface driver, I run it than i get this random erroor about halfway thu installing; http://imgur.com/s72gYYl
After trying to update software automatically via internet it tells me this: http://imgur.com/VErrYiZ

your motherboard has two kinds of USB3 , one from intel chipset and another from Via chipset.

you will need to install both drivers , the intel and the Via ones for all to work.

see which is not working to know which driver is the problem then come back to me.

here is what it says in the mobo specs\

Chipset:

2 x USB 3.0/2.0 ports (available through the internal USB header)
7 x USB 2.0/1.1 ports (3 ports on the back panel, 4 ports available through the internal USB headers)

VIA® VL805 chip:

4 x USB 3.0/2.0 ports on the back panel

so the intel USb3 are the front USB3 ..

while the Via are the one on the back of the PC.

try and see which works and which not to know which driver is missing.

I uninstalled the via usb host controller. restarted pc, tried to install the intel mangement engine interface driver it installed just fine, now its working.
