University and EP readiness of downloads

So let me get this straight... not all downloads are EP-ready... so
they'll simply dissappear from the game, but remain in my download
folder? Someone should REALLY make a cleanup tool that deletes non-EP
ready downloads...

Actually I don't think they were really sure what was going to happen with
the new expansion, but just to be sure they added something to ensure that
they would work. Most websites have something to the effect of 'EP ready'
near the download button so might want to look for that.
Walls and floors and ground covers should work fine tho.

Oh and remember, you can delete items from the game while in the
game...............so maybe you can at least click on them and delete if, in
fact, they do not work.

But will they even show up if they're not EP-ready?

Do you have the latest SimPE?? It has a feature that you can do your own
objects to be compatible with University so if the original object maker
didn't do it or plans
not to do it, you can do it yourself. Now, this is what I'm
understanding. There is a tutorial at MTS2
regarding this.

I just read at MTS2 to NOT redo anything yourself, sorry disregard my
post. Most creators have
gotten their stuff EP compatible, just redownload.

I don't mind about my downloads (objects). It's my mods I live in fear for.
What will I do if all the little 3rd party 'fixes' stop working?

Have you seen the guide at MTS2 about getting ready for the EP??

Bummer - oh well. I suppose I will start again. You know I have never got
beyond three generations from the Maxis originals because a new mod comes
out that I just HAVE to run through the Broke family!

;')

At least I won't be loosing someone irreplaceable, and I did want to see
whether Dustin could keep hold of his woman if they went off to College.

I think quite likely they may have to be revised. But I bet new ones
will come out after a few weeks.
