Oh gosh! I hated that TV, first time I played the game, I thought
something was wrong. I even had
the volume set low & that stupid TV sound took control. Thanks for
telling us, I'm sitting
here looking at my copy of University on my desk, haven't installed yet.

These "annoying" sounds never annoyed me, but the TV was a PIA. I
figured my Sims were all deaf. That, or TV was now broadcasting in THX
sound.

Me too! And HEY, what are you doing that's so important you can't
play! Work!? 😛

Another thing I just noticed... children can influence adults to do
stuff! LOL! I had one of my kids influence the nanny to put soap in
the fountain and play a prank with the sprinkler!

*If you try to influence non-lovers in the bathroom, there's a bug
where they can get stuck
*It sounds like they might have replaced the wants and fears casino
roll sound thingamajig... it seems duller and lower
*If you have more than one sprinkler in a room, instead of them both
going off, it seems the wrong one can go off.... and the fire can
start on the floor somewhere else far away, and then people standing
in the same room can catch fire... very odd... unless it was the first
case I've ever seen of spontanious combustion? She was not cooking any
food at the time.
*You can use the influence system to schmooze the headmaster by
getting him to do stuff with your nicest sim, like appreciate etc.
*It seems the headmaster now stays 6 hours... it used to be 5? I
always found 5 hours to be just too short...
*The headmaster had a rather tasteless name... BJ Cummings...
coincidentally the same name as a character on the show "Son of the
beach"... not that I ever watch it, of course 😛

Thank dog for that, that had to be one of the most annoying things in
the game, that and the phone always ringing.
