Hi. I just upgraded my system last week,
Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING B660-PLUS WIFI D4
CPU: Intel Core i7-12700KF
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3600MHz 32GB
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 4070 VENTUS 3X OC

Did a Windows 11 upgrade from windows 10, and then a complete and full reinstall of windows 11 by download, full wipe, no files spared on the computer itself. (what needed saving was put on external drive).
Everything works and runs smoothly post install.
The one issue I have are several driverless motherboard devices in Device Management. I have been unable to install their respective drivers.
I checked Hardware ID's, I went to the ASUS homepage and found the drivers in question.
Once I unpack and try to run the installer, I am prompted on whether or not to allow the installer to make changes. I confirm. Then a command prompt window briefly shows itself, before disappearing, and then nothing further happens, Device manager still says devices are still driverless.
I updated the BIOS to version 2611 then tried again, no change.
Hardware ID's:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7ACE&SUBSYS_86941043
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7ACD&SUBSYS_86941043
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7AA4&SUBSYS_86941043
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7ACC&SUBSYS_86941043
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_467F&SUBSYS_86941043
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_7AA3&SUBSYS_86941043
ACPI\INTC1056

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Khal.

Solution
I also tried installing the chipset driver again. downloaded, unpacked, ran "AsusSetup" installer, was prompted to either allow or disallow the installer. Unfortunately, after clicking yes, a cmd prompt window appears, disappears and then nothing further happens.
Did you notice, chipset section has multiple downloads?
First download in chipset section is Intel GNA driver. That's not the right one.
Expand chipset section by pressing "show all", then find
Intel chipset driver V10.1.19199.8340 For Windows 10/11 64-bit
and install it.

You may also want to install Intel Management Engine Interface driver.

I wonder if they are just artifacts left over after the update to Windows 11. Right click on the devices and then select UNINSTALL to uninstall it. If it's found again (meaning are real) at re-start it will display again but if it's just an artifact it will disappear.

Thank you for your replies.
I tried uninstalling them and rebooting, they do return.
I also tried installing the chipset driver again. downloaded, unpacked, ran "AsusSetup" installer, was prompted to either allow or disallow the installer. Unfortunately, after clicking yes, a cmd prompt window appears, disappears and then nothing further happens.

Well, Suffice to say, I did in fact fail to extend the list and pick the correct driver.
Installed Intel Management engine.
Chipset driver however appears a tougher not to crack. chose the one you specified, and the screen went black, second screen is not receiving signals anymore... I think the machine just crashed.
No BSOD, no error mesage, no nothing, just a black screen and the computer seems to just idle.
After forcing a reboot I Tried the older WHQL version, that worked. After the WHQL version was in, I was able to update to the newer versions too. Not sure why I needed the WHQL version first, seems like an arbitrary thing to even consider, but my device manager is finally looking crisp!

Thank you all for your input and suggestions!
