Unknown Issue!? Please Help!

I Have a Failing Hard drive which i will be replacing in the next couple of days but the hard drive that the operating system is on is fine but i am experiencing Weird issues

1. very occasionally my computer will freeze and be totally unresponsive
2. if i am gaming the game will become really slow like running at 1fps and the sound will go all crackly
3. when i start up the computer very occasionally it will ask me if i have changed the amount of ram i have put in i have cleaned out the slot and have not had that issue again since monday 2 days ago
4. it Mentioned there might of been a change in the power adapter that i was using which there was not its the same one

Dell Inspiron 15 5577 Gaming - 15.6" - Core i7 7700HQ - 8 GB RAM - 1 TB HDD GTX1050M 4GB

the thing is nothing has been changed but the only thing that flagged up during scans is that the harddrive is going to fail soon but i couldn't see how that could effect it?
