Hopefully somebody can help me find an old video game. A friends mum let me play it for a few hours when I was about 10 but that was a one off. I never got the games name and know very little about it. It might be rubbish but it's bugged me for so long now. This should have been in the 90's.
Here's what I know about it. You're on some alien world, mainly barren or desert if memory serves. I think you are piloting some lonesome mech or robot. It's a top down view much like a RTS. The only enemy I remember is some kind of black plant with tentacles which would hurt you if you got to near, other than that I don't think I found any other hostile. Definitely black fog of war however.
With any luck someone will know what I rambling about.
