Hi
I have a gigabyte H61M-S2P rev. 3.0 motherboard with i5 3570 and 4gb ram. I recently upgraded my memory with a single 8gb 1660 memory module and pull out the 4gb one.
before this upgrade PC was OK but after that, I experienced some problems such as :
1- during boot sometimes motherboard beeps (same as the beep of RAM problems ) with no display and after pressing reset button it boots normally.
2- sometimes its reset suddenly

I use win10.
both modules are king max brand.
onboard graphic
please help me with this problem

there is no problem with my old 4gb RAM.
8gb module is brand new . the thing is the problem appear often but not always...
if the RAM is fully How the computer can boot with it ??
I also checked that with "memtest" and "win memory diagnostic tool" in boot and no problem found.

What kind of "beep" do you get ? That will indicate what is your problem.
And what the detail spec of your RAM ?
