Unlocking hidden BIOS options...

I heard someone say on here before that on some OEM boards, you can hit a key combination that unlocks more options, don't know if they were talking out of their ass or not but anyway, does anyone have any more information on this? I'm temporarily stuck on an OEM board (and an emachines too 🙁 ) and there's literally no options to play around with.

I don't think that you can unlock any options with OEM boards (is emachines like Dell?), but some consumer motherboards using the Award (I think) bios (such as Gigabyte DS3) can have additional tweaking options enabled by pressing Ctrl+F1 (so not entirely a lie).
