Unlocking or Formatting the locked HDD

I put a password on the HDD but have forgotten it. Now the problem is the hard drive is not at all usable. I actually don't care about the data but I want the hard drive to work.
Is there any possible way to do this??

Nope. HD locks are there for a reason, and its' against Tom's rules to help you regardless as you could trying to be access information from your work, spouse, etc and therefore can't help.

Data is not my concern here, only thing which I need is that my hard disk becomes usable even if I have to erase it fully.
