Hello, I'm relatively new to overclocking....only recently did I decide to overclock my Geforce 6600, and so far I have obtained a core clock of 375 (probably am going to go higher) and a memory clock of 580. I am curious, however, as to how you go about unlocking extra pixel pipelines, because I have heard people talk about them, but I can't seem to find any place in Rivatuner that unlocks them...Any help would be greatly appreciated :) Also, what do all the pixel shaders and things of that nature do...and how do you mess around with those?

Well I'm afraid you can not unlock more pipelines on the 6600s.

Hi you could probably push the core

i have a msi nx6600le (light edition 4 pipes active only)
i use rivatuner and got this

core 450 mhz (added a fan) could go at 455 with another program from msi but was causing problem with my monitor.

mem 540mhz

unlocked 4 pipes now 8x1,3vp

i also fried a lo end psu 😳 e power 430w

Good luck.

Hehe, well I did push the core up to 500 mhz, and it runs fine, but I think I'll just keep it there, cuz that's basically a 6600GT; other than the memory being at 580 mhz lol. But, wusy, that is the reason I created this topic, I didn't know how to unlock extra pixel pipelines lol. So, I obviously haven't figured that out yet, but I have learned that apparently I can't with my card, and that's probably the problem lol.

some people say that they can unlock some extra pixel pipelines by editing the cards' bios flash, it worked on X800GTO2..I don't know if it will work on 6600.
