Unmountable boot volume blue screen xp

Hello,
Right now my mom's dell inspiron 1501 has the unmountable blue screen of death. Is there anything I can do or no and she should just go and get a new computer? My son has dropped the computer many times so I don't know if this has anything to do with it. I hope that I put this in the correct category. LOLMAO! I had the same problem and I had sumbody fix it and turns out the wires inside were a bit loose! so just get it checked by a techie
