Unnecessary Old 98 files after XP upgrade & Moving XP to a..

Like the subject says, are there any? Where are they? What are they called.
Some guy at told me where those files are stored, but I forgot. I just want
a clean, non-cloggy version of XP.

I need to move my OS to a larger drive, so I am debating to just do a clean
XP install, or to use a program like Norton Ghost to move XP over to the new
drive. I know that a clean install will be best, but I have TONS of programs
installed. I have been using the old drive since around 1997, so you can
just imagine all the stuff I would have to reinstall if I start over.
Also I'll mention I really don't have any weird OS problems. My computer is
actually much faster and more stable than most people I know with similar
setups.

Depends, use this info as examples:

Boot with a Win98 startup floppy and then type in: SYS C:

That will remove the dual boot and give a simple one into the 98 again.
Then delete the Windows folder on D: (or use the floppy to FORMAT D: if
there is nothing else there you want).

Or.....

Edit the C:\BOOT.INI file and remove all Windows 98 links from here. Save
the file and restart Windows. If Windows XP comes up without problems you
can uninstall Windows 98 by manually deleting its files from the HDD (if you
want to fully get rid of this OS).

Edit the C:\Boot.ini file and remove Win98 from there. Save/reboot.

Note: The removal files will be listed via Disk Cleanup.

The subject says 98 was upgraded to XP.

Belonker,
Did you elect to save the 98 files when you upgraded to XP?
If so, check Add Remove Programs in Control Panel.
