So a hardware intensive game was running (Star Wars Battlefront) and one of my friends unplugged the PC in the middle of game play a few times to mess around. Will that damage or hurt anything with my computer.

Here are my system specs just in case...
Case: Corsair 350d
Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VII Gene
RAM: 16gb Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133mhz
CPU: i7 4790K 4.0ghz
GPU: GTX 980 Ti (Reference)
Liquid Cooling: Corsair Hydro Series H75
Hard Drive: Seagate 2 TB
OS: Windows 10

Thanks!

It is no worse than a power out.

As said above it could cause issues with data being written at the time, but in general it should be ok. I have never had damage from power outs. I Now I have my UPS to prevent the potential lost work/data issue, but other systems without it have never had any issues so far(outside of lost changes you did not save).

It is clearly NOT recommended to do this, so slap your friend or something :)
Definitely could. Hard drive could be interrupted in the middle of a write, power supply voltages could be out of spec, etc... All you can do is run it and see if you have problems. You could run diagnostics, memtest, seagate disk diagnostics, etc. Nothing will tell you if files were corrupted on your disk except an eventual blue screen .....
