[SOLVED] Unplugging and reconnecting cable modem and router

Hi,
I need to unplug my Comcast cable modem and Google One Hub router so I can clean up some messy cabling. When I reconnect them, will both work normally without any additional steps from me? I believe that I may get a new IP address. If so, will it necessitate any new settings input to the router or will it still work okay on its own. Thanks!

Unless you have a UPS that happens anytime you get a power outage. It will work fine and in many cases you will get the same IP address back unless you leave the modem/router off for many hours.
