Hello everyone. I have a fairly simple question.. I am running Windows 10 on MSI Z97
motherboard with SSD as the main drive for Windows, and a secondary HDD for all my games, movies and music that is starting to fail. To my knowledge this is just a slave drive, there are no system files installed to this secondary drive . So, if I unplug this drive will I have to reload the operating system onto my solid state drive because of the page file?? THX

I don't think so. I think Windows will just make a page file on the SSD when it finds out there normal directory doesn't exist anymore. Keep the HDD unplugged until you get a replacement drive than plug it back in to copy everything over. You can also move the pagefile back to the SSD if windows doesn't auto make one.
