Hi people, my cousin recommended me this website, so i decided i would use it since my keyboard decided to stop working.

It was working fine yesterday, but today i decided to work on some art so i unplugged my head phones and keyboard out of my laptop and moved everything out of the way. When i was done i moved everything back to play some video games, but when i plugged in my keyboard the lights wouldn't turn on

I read about it here and some other places and people say that the Razer Black Widow keyboard has a good bit of flaws. I only got the keyboard over the summer, and i'm surprised it stopped working this early after getting it, as I've only had it a couple of months. Please help me, i don't want to have to buy another keyboard, just because i made the mistake of unplugging my last one. 🙁 And i haven't tried much to fix because there isn't much i can do with what i know, but i looked in the info book, and couldnt find anything.

I'm one of those folks who say that Razer have a QC issue. If you're within your warranty period, you might want to contact your seller and Razer about the issue to initiate an RMA. No need to buy a new keyboard at this stage, if you're within the warranty period. Unplugging and replugging it shouldn't kill a keyboard though, might I suggest that you make sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date? Speaking of which, please make sure your USB, chipset and device drivers are all up to date. On that note, please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS.
