Unreal Engine 4 GPU recommendation!

I'm in a dillema between the AMD RX 580 and the GTX 1060, and I would also like to know which one of these graphics runs better with Unreal Engine 4, which is the future.

according to this article it sounds like NVIDIA GPU's will be better optimized for unreal engine 4

THough the article is almost 3 years old, and the new rx 580 runs the dx12 games much better then the gtx 1060, so I was wondering if there is any improvement in the unreal engine such as there is in the dx12 games.
