This is great for showing people VR without putting a headset on them, but I'm still not sold on Everest until they make it more than a short experience, or adjust the price to what would be expected for a short experience.

VR was never going to have sales numbers like a new console. That doesn't make it a gimmick.

The price is high and the amount of deep content are indeed factors. Next week, when PSVR launches, will be the real test of the market, but Gamestop said the PSVR sold out faster than any other hardware launch, so your assessment of the sales numbers isn't accurate.

The fact is, we don't know how many Rift or Vive have been sold and we don't know how many PSVRs are pre-sold.
