Question Unreal Engine exiting due to d3d device lost fortnite

Hi there,
So i recently got a new windows inside update (build 18908).

Now for some reason, everytime i launch fortnite, tab out to a youtube video and begin watching it, my screen goes black and the whole game crashes.

It says 'unreal engine is exiting due to d3d device being lost Error: 0x887A0006 - 'HUNG' '

And underneath that it will say 'FortniteClient_Win64_Shipping' for a long time down as a list, ending with null.

How do i fix this?

You are running a beta version of windows so you can expect problems and if you don’t want to see the problems don’t run the insider versions. Fix it by installing a standard version of windows that’s not a beta

How can i do that without losing all my apps and files
