Unreal Tournament 204 and my Mic?

I can't get my mic working in UT 2004. I have it locked to the V key,
and when i hit it it lookslike its able to receive sound, but nobody
hears anything. The little graph doesn't fluctuate at all. I have it
pluigged into the right port, and with sound recorder, I can record my
voice. Is there a config utility for the game as well?

You have to press and hold the key while you are talking - they didn't tell
you about that.

Yes, thats what I'm doing. Its like a walkie talkie.

What is your audio set-up like?
Make sure you are using system drivers

Yes, I'm using system drivers. Its a Gigabyte board with AC97 sound.
It works in sound recorder.. I dunno. Thats why I'm baffled.
