unreal tournament 4

I downloaded the unreal tournament 4 demo game the other day and have a strange problem- The game plays just fine, fast, good graphics etc.- but all of a sudden without warning the game shuts off and goes back to my startup page. You never know when it will do this, but it always happens. Does anyone know what would cause this type of problem?

Sounds kind of like a heat problem. Try taking the side panel off of your case and positioning a house fan so it's blowing into your case. Then try playing the game again. If that makes the problem go away then you have a heat problem.

You might try looking for any official patches for the demo version.

I've seen this problem before and this might help. Check the graphic settings and make sure they're not set too high.
Start with something modest like 800x600 res with default settings in the game and work your way up. Happy Fragging

Ran into this and just had to up my CPU voltage .25 . Also check your system heat too for this game is a hog!

If it runs on my 1.1Ghz athlon with a Geforce2 then any new(ish) computer should be able to handle it at 1024x768.

Hi guys I am trying to install cd's 1, 2, and 3 of Unreal tournament 2003 on a virtual drive through Daemon tools. I am not getting anywhere. Help please. I am not a techie. First clean install in over a year. It was installed before. It just won't take. CD load times are way too long. Could someone give me clear instructions please?
