cORRECT me if I am wrong. Since you are not using the integrated graphics set it to minimum in Bios.Since you are using 64 bit OS it should not be a problem.

Have you disabled the integrated one ? If no do go to bios and reduce the graphics memory to as minimum as possible. But believe me , I may be wrong because never saw graphics sharing as large as 4 gb.But you should give it a try.

wELL then check in device manager what is showing. If it is showing 2 devices with your integrated as one disable it.Restart.And yeah post some pics of the bios portion showing graphics information. And have you tried updating bios ? Like Version 2003 2011.01.17 update ?

It's possible that you have Shared Memory enabled in your BIOS. This takes a large amount of RAM and extends it to your video card, sound card or other output device.

You should be able to fix this in your BIOS. Every BIOS is different, therefore making it difficult to walk you through the process of how to do it, but if you have experience in the system BIOS you can navigate your way to the "Shared Memory" option and correct it manually.

You may also want to check your output device's built-in interface. For example, NVidia and Radeon usually have a program that installs on your OS at the time the drivers are installed that allows you to change the settings. There may be an option for Shared Memory.
