Unstable cpu temperatures, idling at 40ºC

CPU - Intel i5-4690K (never been overclocked)
CPU cooler - Corsair H60 Hydro.

used both for 11 months now

I'm not sure for how long, only noticed a few days ago that my cpu temperatures have been sky high. When computer is idle it will average at 40 even venturing up to 50ºC. Under mild stress like counter strike global offensive, it will average at 65ºC and going as far as 75-80ºC. When I have a look inside my case everything looks like normal, nothing too dusty or mounted wrong.

it's only a little warm at 80C. Increase the fan and pump speeds?

Fan is going as fast as possible, pump flow is fairly high too. Even if I can play video games on 80C, it's increased massively without me doing anything so it is a problem for me.
