Issue:
Hello, basically with the latest Nvidia/Geforce drivers I can NOT play a game SMOOTHLY without it crashing and making some weird noise come through my speakers WITHOUT putting my memory and core clock speed to -400 using MSIAfterburner. However, when I do this it only lasts for about 1 hour and then happens again.
People said it was my Graphics Card, so I RMA'ed it. The issue still persisted and i doubt I have got 2 faulty cards.
People said it was my RAM, I run Memtest and it came back clear.
I have also scanned my hard drives and nothing has been found.
Someone told me it could be my PSU not serving enough power to my GPU, I have tested my PSU using a psu tester (just the 24 pin connectors though) and it seems fine.
I was also told it could be my motherboard which is faulty or needs UPDATING.
However, what I have discovered is that I do not need to use MSI afterburner or do anything if I use an older driver (344.60) < is the driver im using now and the issue does not happen!!!
BUT. Eventually I am going to have to update my graphics drivers to play newer games...so?
What happens then? I can not use newer drivers because my GPU becomes unstable..so what must I do? What else is causing this to happen?
I look forward to your response.
